While earning a degree in mass communications at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, Mark wrote, directed and performed in a comedy troupe called Mom’s Apple Pie. The group performed together throughout the Midwest in the ’70s, and when it disbanded, Mark went solo and combined his comedy training with motivational speaking.
Soon after, Mark was employed by Jostens—the leading manufacturer of class rings, yearbooks and graduation products—to speak to their customers throughout North America. Previously, Robert was Director of Global Citizenship for eBay Inc. and led the development of a range social ventures encompassing sustainability, philanthropy and microfinance. Robert previously conceived and launched WorldofGood.com by eBay, a global marketplace for artisans and producers. Chatwani co-founded a consumer Internet marketplace, and was with McKinsey & Company. Lynn is known as "The Queen of Auctions" and was given an award for branding by eBay at eBay: On Location in 2010. Lynn is a frequent guest on eBay Radio and has appeared on hundreds of other radio and TV programs, including NBC's "Evening Magazine" and "Inside Edition". She has been featured in "Good Housekeeping" magazine. Lynn has produced and hosted a series of DVD programs entitled "The Queen's Academy" and has filmed four episodes of a new reality show. Jim "Griff" Griffith joined eBay as the company's first customer support representative in 1996, and subsequently helped hire and train new customer support representatives and employees. Now, as Dean of eBay Education, roving ambassador, eBay spokesperson, seller advocate and most notably, the host of eBay Radio and author of The Official eBay Bible, Griff spends nearly all his time teaching others how to use eBay effectively, safely and profitably. Rich Matsuura has been with eBay for six years. Prior to joining the Feedback and Seller Protection team, Rich was Director of eBay Seller Tools. He also led the eBay shipping team. Shari Smith
Shari Smith began her career selling on eBay as a way to bridge the gap between full time work outside of the home. She initially sold a variety of personal items and quickly found success in her efforts. Friends and family began asking for her help in selling their items on eBay and she quickly realized that she could turn this "temporary" job into something full time. Six years later, Shari has never looked back. She is a Gold PowerSeller, Certified Education Specialist Trained by eBay, and received the 2010 and 2011 Education Specialist Excellence Award. Shari is also active in Toastmasters and has received the Advanced Communicator Bronze award. |
